Cast-in-Situ Pile

Bored cast-in-situ piles have the application together as foundation piles for holding vertical and lateral loads and as shoring piles for earth retention.

Golden Eagle Networks has been associated with the installation of bored cast-in-situ piles sine 2015 and has the capability to construct and undertake large projects with tight schedules using cast-in-situ rigs. As of today, we have 4 rig machines of our own which are available for renting purpose as well. Golden Eagle Networks has installed piles for large government projects of transmission line for Power Grid Company Bangladesh, working as sub-contractor for HG Power and EnergyPac.

The system is particularly suited to construction sites with a diameter of 450 mm to 1200 mm and depth up to 40m are obtained using the most up to date technology and instrumented cast-in-situ rigs.

The strong nature of the system is a main feature and the procedure of working is as follows:

  • The thick heavy steel tube is forced with the end closed by a steel shoe
  • On achieving the necessary driving resistance, a full length cage is lowered in to the steel tube
  • The tube is poured with high slump concrete
  • The steel tube is vibrated leaving a shaft of concrete

If necessary, a former can be fixed at the top to 1000mm diameter to make a pile head – perfect for supporting floor slabs, electrical towers, etc. without punching shear.
